Hey there, fellow bookworms and kingdom conquerors!
Guess what? Two months ago, I released Princess of Realms, and just like clockwork, today I’ve triumphantly completed Queen of Realms. Yep, you heard that right – your favorite author (ahem, that's me) is not just sitting around eating chocolate covered strawberries. Well, maybe a few strawberries were harmed in the making of this book.
Now, let's talk numbers. Queen of Realms was a beast of a book, a whopping 556 pages! I mean, if each page was a step, I’d have climbed a literary Mount Everest. And let me tell you, the view from up here is fantastic, especially with a cup of coffee.
Here’s the kicker - with this royal accomplishment, I will have published three books before I turn the big 3-1. That’s right, three books! Which was the goal I set for myself back in the fall when Daughter of Realms had just released. If my books were candles, my upcoming birthday cake would be a mini bonfire.
So, what’s next in my grand plan of literary domination? Well, I've already dived 15k words deep into Empress of Realms. At this rate, I might just establish my own literary empire by 35. But today, I’m taking a well-deserved break. Maybe I’ll outline a bit, or perhaps I’ll just binge-watch my favorite show while pretending I’m plotting.
In conclusion, dear readers, stay tuned for more tales of royal intrigue and epic word counts. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to find where I left my crown... and the remote.
Till next time,
Ember East, Queen of the Written Word
