Hello, fellow realm-walkers and page-turners! It's me, your favorite scribe of fantastical worlds, here with an update on the epic saga of book writing. So, grab a quill, or just scroll down, as I regale you with the tale of how "Queen of Realms," book 3 of our beloved series, is still a work in progress. Yes, you read that right – I'm still editing!
Now, before you summon the dragons of impatience, let me assure you, it's coming along just as planned. "But, dear author," you might ask, "why aren't you done yet?" Ah, dear reader, that's where the plot thickens.
You see, I've been mastering the ancient art of productive procrastination. That's right, I've turned the dreaded 'P' word into a magical tool of creation! While I was supposed to be adding the finishing touches to "Queen of Realms," my mind took me on a detour through the uncharted territories of book 4, "Empress of Realms." And guess what? I've conjured up 15,000 words of this new adventure!
But wait, there's more! In a twist no one saw coming, not even me, I've also embarked on a spin-off series titled "Bound by Desire." And, hold onto your hats because 5,000 words of this tantalizing new story have already spilled from my pen.
Now, I know what you're thinking. "But we want 'Queen of Realms'!" Fear not, for the countdown has begun. Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and prepare your reading nooks for January 20th, when "Queen of Realms" makes its grand entrance into the world. And where can you find this gem, you ask? Well, it will be available in all its royal glory on Amazon, in the mystical bazaar of my TikTok shop, and, of course, on my very own website, where all realms converge.
So, as I dive back into the editing realm, armed with my trusty red pen and a bottomless cup of coffee, I leave you with this thought: Sometimes, a little procrastination can lead to new realms of creativity.
Stay tuned, dear readers, and until our paths cross again in the pages of the realms, keep dreaming, keep reading, and keep believing in the magic of stories.
Signing off,
Ember East – Weaver of Words, Chronicler of Realms, and Procrastinator Extraordinaire.
